On Thursday 15th November, we took a group of Inchmarlo boys to Belfast Activity Centre. In what was an extremely enjoyable day from the children’s perspective and an important day in terms of our A2 coursework, we all benefitted greatly from the day.
The aim of the day was to run a successful active leisure event at BAC. In the morning, boys took part in some fun games using a parachute and an ‘electric’ rope. After, the children were spilt into two groups- half did caving first while the others went climbing. Then after a small break, the boys swapped over. Before leaving, the children had lunch and received their certificates.
As you can see from the photos the boys took part in climbing and dry caving- with the majority favouring the caving.
In what was a successful day, we would like to thank the help of the staff at BAC and to all involved at Inchmarlo, in particular Mr Francey.
