It has been a busy start to the new academic year here in Inchmarlo. There are two highlights however that stand out.
As many people know, Inchmarlo is celebrating its Centenary this year and to start the celebrations we had a Founders’ Day assembly on Friday 15 September. This was an opportunity to let the boys experience and hear what life was like 100 years ago but also to understand where and how Inchmarlo started in 1917.
Mr Smyth set the scene, describing what life was like 100 years ago and telling the audience of boys and governors all about the early years of the school at Marlborough Park.
Mr Richard Wilson fielded some questions about his time here in the school and then the Principal fired the boys’ imagination by asking them to imagine what life will be like in Inchmarlo in the next 100 years.
